Changing Insurance Details
Just been on the phone to Quinn Insurance: Quote:
SO why didn't my premium go down? If I did the opposite you could guarantee I'd get stung. (And as I'm badmouthing insurance companies, A Quote has been billing me for 12 months since I canceled the policy) |

Because they have you over the proverbial barrel - you have to change your address, or invalidate your insurance. Or cancel and lose no claims, or bend-over and pay whatever they say. Did they try to tap you up for an "admin fee" too? |
Re: Changing Insurance Details
G2D - other than this are quinn generally good?
They seem to be coming out cheapest on gocompare.com |
Re: Changing Insurance Details
How much did it go up by?
|
Re: Changing Insurance Details
It didn't go up, but it was £150 cheaper when I generated the quote for a 'garaged bike' :(
Quinn are alright actually. Pretty stroppy about proof of NCD and the like though. |
Re: Changing Insurance Details
I got the admin fee when I changed address :smt019

Re: Changing Insurance Details
You'll get the admin fee but the premium will go down. Companies don't pick and choose their premiums, at least we don't at Saga, but still; the cheaper cost will nullify the admin fee and depending on your premium now I'd expect between 10-30% off.
