shape on the sv between k3-k7?

Is K3 when the pointy's came out? I'm selling a bagster tank cover on ebay and the guy is asking if it will do his k3, it fits my k7 but beyond that I can't tell from searching on the net and though someone here might know?

Yes the K3 was the first of the Pointy's, the only real change in the tank shape/design is the colours.
