Datatool problem.
hi there,
I'm at a bike school near me at the mo, and my alarm won't disable- even if I disconnect the battery! Does anyone know how to disable or uninstall a datatool veto alarm/immobilizer? Thanks in advance Conrad |
Re: datatool problem! urgent!
Its not easy to just rip it out, it'll be wired into the loom.
Is it not responding to the keyfob ? If so are there any radio transmitters or anything like that around you. Try pushing the bike a little way and then try again. Failing that has the keyfob got wet ? Try taking the keyfob apart and drying it out. Or what happened is sometimes my keyfob would go out of synch with the alarm and I had to re-synch it. IIRC you push both buttons together for something like 2 seconds and it re-synchs the keyfob. If none of that works. I think you'll be stuck, sorry. |

When you do get it to work, take it off, place it on the ground, and then reach for a big hammer. With an almighty swing, smash it to peices
My dad did something similar to mine, except he booted it down the road aswell. |

Fizzwheel, I owe you an entire night out. Had to resynch! Ah well. I might go shoot myself now.

Funny. I never had any problem with either of my Sv's alarms. One Datatool and one a Meta.
Must have a gentle touch. |
