My wife says I'm a terrible nagger, always going on about something or other.

Anyone got some tips for me? How to just turn a blind eye to those annoying but trivial things in life?

I've done 2850 miles in the last 5 weeks, I think I ride enough.
Damn rear tyre's only got about 150 miles left in it. That annoys me.

I did consider contracting a serious disease, as that would probably put things into perspective. It does seem a bit extreme however.
