SV info for novice please
Hello
Looking to get an SV for an off-road project so any advice as to model differences would be appreciated. Will be putting a set of off-road wheels into it, removing all non-essential items, chopping the seat down and or lowering the rear, fitting Renthal bars etc. Any information appreciated. Does anyone know the distance from the rear wheel centre to the inner pint of the swinging arm (behind engine), plus the same centre point to the underside of the mudguard/tail section? Anyone fitted mx bars to one? Did you retain the original cables/hoses or have to get new ones? Were any of the wheels spoked? Regards |
Re: SV info for novice please
Search on bay area riders forums. I believe tygaboy built an off road SV.

Looking round BARF I can't find the thread, could have sworn it was on there somewhere... the one I saw, the fuel lived in the seat, and the airbox poked up through the "tank". Very cool.
