Buying tickets online
 

My sister wants to book some tickets online, for a concert I think or an event. Can anyone suggest a website that she could use or ones that she should avoid?

ticketmaster have never let me down, though sometimes marginally more expensive then competitors

I used ticket master myself this very morning, and we saw Elbow last night on tickets bought on ticket master.

check the smallprint of some websites. i've heard that some places only sell you an "auction" ticket which qualifies you to participate in the lottery of drawing lots for a ticket and there are no guarantees you'll get your dosh back.

could be load of old bunkum and totally illegal and could also be a myth, but check anyways...

Have only ever used ticketmaster and had no problems whatsoever

just echoing what others have said: ticketmaster are good :D

You don't need me to tell you this but steer clear of ebay

+1 for ticketmaster , they are pretty much the only sanctioned ticket seller out there , HMV are good for tickets too :D
