Any ideas for a good road trip for a few hours near london
 

Hi all

Me and my friend who just got a new SV are going for a road trip tomorrow, prob for about 5 hours. We live in London.
In your vast knowledge can you recommend any good road trip or whatever you call them.

You mean your going for a ride:D Where in North London do you live?

How well do you know the home counties? Head out on the A41, M1 north or A40 West Bound.

From Watford I head towards Aylesbury, via all the back roads as thats where I have lived for a long time. Or from the A40 up through Denham, around the Chalfonts, up through all the country lanes.

If you head out Sunday I may be tempted out, however it will have to in the afternoon, as I'm on nights and will head out. I'll service the bike Monday/Tuesday instead. If you want to go out then let me know.

aylesbury to buckingham, thame, round oxford.

head up towards essex - bishops stortford to manuden then saffron waldon and beyond

leighton buzzard road out from hemel hemstead to ermmm.... leighton buzzard.

We live in North london, but would like to get out of london to be honest, maybe something pleasing to the eye, Not to much motorways !!!

There are two of us going out tomorrow pm
Probably include

Potters Bar
Essendon
Panshanger
Maybe go over to Wheathampstead
Ayot St Peter etc.

Not sure yet.
