For the love of a good woman
When I had my off back in May I ripped the outside covering off my Held jacket where the shoulder protector is. OK its going through the insurance at the moment so no problem
The good lady was looking at it in the garage the other day and reckoned she could repair it As I sit triping this post she is sewing new leather shoulder pieces into my jacket------------BY HAND God Bless Er |

Good lady you have there. I split my shorts (trousers with no legs - not undies) and brought some cool biker badges to put on them. My wife is hasseling me daily to get sewing or she's gonna toss them.

Re: For the love of a good woman
It is only the outer denim covering that was grazed, scuffed up not the actual structure of the jacket,in reality it is a cosmetic repair, but still very fiddly.
I see loads of bikers wearing patched up leathers but these are textiles with leather patches covering the grazed bits now Unfortunately I can't afford to through things away just because they are scuffed, well not until the insurance pays out |

Alas if i gave Amanda a needle & thread she would probably end up stitching her finger to my jacket, she does however have many other tallents which i will not go into here, she also bakes a mean banana & walnut cake.
