does anyone know of a leather repairer who can make a good job of replacing a zip in a pair of leather motorbike trousers in the bradford/ halifax area or leeds thanks

Take them to any good clothing adjustment type shop and tell them what you want.

I was marshalling with a guy once who tool some leather bottoms and a leather jacket to a motorbike shop and asked if a zip could be added to make them joinable for trackday......they wanted to charge him £100.......he took it to some lady shop in a quite side street and she did it for £15.

Replicated the tough double stiching and everything to make sure it was safe.

Don't know a place in Bradford,but there is a place in Burnley on standish street,can't properly remember the name but it's called (something)stitches.

She's an oldish women,but a proper top bannana,she fixed a new zip to my 2pce,the part that connects pants/jacket and put me a new popper on my pants....£25 all in...HTH.

If you pop into power sport in bradford they have little slips for 'Dave the leather man' he does everything going. Not used him yet though

I remember hearing someone talking about a Guy in Great Horton (Bradford), around the back of the White Horse pub. I suspect you're best asking at either Powersport in Bradford, of Hein Gericke in Leeds, as they're more likely to know exactly where to find him :)

went to dave the leatherman £15 for the work, he seemed very busy but it looks fine
