Do we have an obligation to the nation's schoolkids...

... to rev the throttle and maybe pull a little wheelie as we depart traffic lights?

... Or is there something decidedly wrong about a thirty something bloke trying to impress schoolchildren? 8-[

If it makes 'em smile and gives them inspiration to get a bike of their own (and not pi55 all their money up the wall on booze, fags and drugs when they are of age), then why not :D I'll wave at kids and rev my bike for them, the ones that like it wave back and give some compliment (cool bike mate!)

No, I am afraid that it is the law.

You have to pull away on the rear wheel only when in the presence of school children.

Also there is the little known law that states when stopping at traffic Lights outside a school or Nurse's Accommodation, you must at all times apply heavy amounts of front brake, stopping the motorcycle on it's front wheel only. You must then allow a short delay before allowing the rear wheel to touch back down onto the Tarmac.

Failure to comply with these Laws may mean that you have a small thingie...

yeah............... i did rolling burnout for a little kid in france, which cheered him up no end

still have not got the hang of wheelies on the blade (mostly down to not trying hard enough)

used to wheelie the SV all the time, and the beta......... might as well take the front wheel of that thing

i find it's more amusing to wheelie for younger children, the look of absolute joy on their faces as they wave you a thumbs up contrasts the look of shocked horror and disapproval on the parents' faces quite nicely;)
