and they still intend to carry on spending on projects etc that they have already planned to do?? madness, so with all this lending of our own money, where do we find the money to spend on the olympics, I'd rather put money on a 3 legged horse race myself, probably get a better return!

Its not funny, as its too true!

Heres the other slant...

The government own the bank thats just repossed your house. They then have to find you accomodation for you to live in technically. This will probably cost more than your morguage payment!

Nice to know that these intellegent people are in charge isnt it?

Fecking idiots all of them. The country should be run by business men, not politicains that have no blardy clue what they are doing!!

Uk Public struggle.....house gets repossed, life over.

Uk Banks Struggle.....They get handed £50Billion

I know people can say that people having their homes repossed have normally been living beyond there means so deserve it (Most of the time, Exlcuding people made redundant etc).....but the same could be said for banks.
