Clocks going back

I hate this annual charade. Isn't it right that it really only positively affects the very few people who live from Dundee northwards - that's about 3 - 400,000 people I think. And yet the government inflicts it on everyone, all 60 million of us. Scotland has its own parliament now, so I'm sure they're capable of making their own laws on what time of day it is. So for the sake of very few people who are perfectly capable of making their own decisions we're all plunged into darkness in the afternoon.

I bloody hate it. Roll on the end of March.

Any view from north of the border?

Investigating feeding habits of oystercatchers at high tide, night and day, and disturbances - so spose it won't be too bad. Of course I'm limited to what times high tide is and the weather so shortage of daylight doesn't help
