sv650s k3 speedo drive

I have a k5 speedo and it doesn't work on mine so am seeking a k3/4 speedo drive!
Please contact me on here if you have one or know of someone who does:)

Ta!

Ta!

A wrong speedo will work but will read double or half real speed.
What is yours doing.
What year bike is it,

It's doubling everything - including the distance traveled! :/
Mine is a k3 model...

I think K6 onwards had the eight pick-up, you are right in that you need the 4 pick-up which is 2003 and 2004 (K3-K4).

I had the same problem on my K5 and the K3 rotor sorted it all out.
£16 from Suzuki dealer

Cool, managed to get a used one in perfect condition for £35 - not bad! :)

Am I right in thinking that this:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Suzuki-SV-650-...1%7C240%3A1318
Won't work on my K4? If someone can confirm, I'll mail the chap as someone could mistake the item description to mean "fits K3-K7" from the descripton.

I took my front wheel out at the weekend and the seemingly made out of fine china (really, it seems more like a ceramic than plastic) rotor fell to bits. I needed the bike today, so put it back together and relied on my GPS for speedo. Based on Tonny06's post can you buy just the rotor from a dealership then?

Yes thats right, it will work on K5 and onwards.
The rotor you want is available from a dealer for about £16 inc vat.
