Odd things ya pets do ...

I do not have a door bell and Samson has never been able to associate the ringing of a doorbell to visitors, but how does my dog know everytime he hears one on the TV to look out the window and go to the door?

I have a cat called Candy.

Couple times a week she has a mad 5 min dash around the house, this could be 10am, 3pm or midnight, she just goes crazy like she has been on crack.

my old cat liked to play fetch with rubber gloves.
Honey dog goes to the phone when it rings
Kaspar still thinks hes a kitten and sucks clothes and hes nine.
And Bob....well he likes chasing his own tail forever

one of my dogs is addicted to socks!!!! eats them whole and manages to pass them too:pukel: quite the thief too, we try to keep them out of his way but every now and then he finds one. i'm sure one day his antics will end up in an expensive trip to the vets.

my brothers rottweiler (one of my dog's sons) use to literally not have a clue,
he was obsessed with chasing aeroplanes, aeroplane shadows (weird sight that was), birds, flys etc
would normally result in ruining into things constantly due to looking up and not were he was going.

because of his mad behaviour he ended up damaging his joints and had to be put down, poor thing didn't know any different.

RIP boy

My cat refuses to go down the stairs on his own when its dark. Hes fine in the daytime but not at night..!

He also knows when I'll be home from work because he'l be sitting on the step waiting when I pull up in the car

My old cat used to wait at the bus stop for me every night after work (a quarter of a mile from home) and then walk home with me.

And once, I got a pint in at my local, turned around and he was sat there watching me. Little bugger had followed me in.

I once had a pet Tarantula, watching her hunt and then feed was fairly strange. For something with that many legs and such a small brain to control them, she could move frighteningly quickly. I was holding her one day and she bit me. It was not her fault though, My mother blew on her to see if she would move.

I think my cat Jasper is a drug addict, he is addicted to Kitty Crack, also known as Cat treats and he will even raise his paw to say please for one. It took me two days to train him to do that. However he will not walk past the dining table, but must instead jump up and walk across it. We have tried to train him not to.but even zapping him with a water pistol will not stop him. He is a very single minded animal and I love him so much.
