SV650 - Help required in Leeds (LS17) area?

Hi,

I need help with a few things on my bike and I’m hoping there is someone local (Leeds LS17) who could do the following:

  • Wire up my ignition wires which were cut but are currently taped up but it could do with borrow wiring.
  • Fit one of my front brake pads (I managed to get the other one changed but the left one is more tricky to do)
  • Loosen my chain a little

Would be happy to pay for the above to a fellow forum member rather than a garage. If anyone can help then please feel free to drop me a message.

Thanks

Hey.

Is it an SV650 or an SV650S?

I could resolder, heatshrink and sleeve the ignition wires easily enough. Front brakes are straightforward. Is it rideable, could you bring it over to me in Hfax?

Too far away for me to help out, and won't be up visiting family for a while...

Paging YC... money could go to MYC's student fund....

Given the only posts you make on here seem to be when you have a fault with the bike and don't want to take it to a garage, have you ever considered going on a motorcycle maintenance course? Wakfield College run an evening course that lasts ten weeks, and isn't a million miles away from you.
