:-ddWhen I was studying for my Degree (Environmental Science) we would spend hours counting Faeces because it is a good indicator of local wild life. However after an hour or two it quickly loses its attraction, which is why I spent my final year studying Lichen and Energy. I will leave you to imagine how many turds I had in my quadrat...:-dd #-o

For a Big whale shark that was a pretty small pooo , wonder how big of a poo a blue whale would leave behind !!!!!
One good thing about being a fish , they never have to wipe :smt120

yep I had a practical the other week looking at sheep faeces under the miscrosope to find schistosome eggs, so exhilarating.... not.

Whats a quadrat? is it some kind of Quadbike Ratbike?

A quadrat is a metal square used as a measuring device, usually out on the field for sampling. Not exactly mindblowing stuff but I guess some people find it great fun, I'm using them at the minute for my diss.
