Anyone finished it yet? I have to say the game itself was pretty good. A lot like the first though with a little bit of a love/search story running through the plot. This tugs on the heart strings a little and is quite well excecuted (there's a pun there). Other than that though it's almost aidentical to the first game story-wise; kill some locust and find out where their base is and destroy it......or do you? There are some clues during the game regarding what the locust are, which I think is quite expected to be honest. What I admire is how much effort has been put into this game from an artistic and technical point of view. It's a marvel that this can be done on the humble little box and hopefully a new Gears 3 will answer all the questions and will be released on the 360 as well. All in all I don't think it was worth many of the reviews but it certainly is a good game, just over hyped a little (no surprise though). Online Horde mode rules though!

Another thing, Dead Space is one of the finest horror survival games I've played. Buy it, or at least rent it. It's wet your pants scary!

I tried friends out just after release and decided it was too similar to the first - decided to spend elsewhere. Good game generally though.

All in all the game was good, but a bit too easy for my liking, Raam in GoW1 was a barsteward to kill.

my son finished it 2 days after getting it. but it was maybe on easy level or something.

Yeah the ending sucked locust ****. Way too easy, Raam was a headache to kill.
