Did anyone watch Panorama last night?
Well the program was all about baby P and his life and incidents from the moment he was first noticed to his death.
I sat there choking up at the sadness of the story and so many missed opportunites to save the little fella and the sheer cruelty of people around him and their blatent disregard for him. I could barely watch it as it was so horrifying. My wife sat there in floods of tears at the end and I was doing well to hold back, our kids are 4 & 8 so we can still clearly remember them at this age. What kind of fun can be derived from inflicting such pain and suffering? The thought of it is making me feel sad right now. I know there is another thread for this but fell that being the BBC the program was probably less biased than other media reports and I really wanted to see what people thought about it. |

Sorry  A tragic case no doubt, but as I've mentioned in the other thread, in the grand scheme it's a non event. |

Yes, I watched it and it is still sickening to here what has happened to that poor little fella.
The fact is Social Services knew about it, they had the power to act, but in the end not the will... |
