The other significant thing about my birthday is that it's the start of the new tax year, which means my parents missed a whole year's tax rebate becasue I was born at 1am on the 6th. If I'd been born an hour earlier they'd have got the whole year's tax back. My dad didn't buy the posh Ford Zodiac he wanted that year, he got a 1340cc Ford Classic instead.
