Peeps....

whats the deal with the ignition retarder ? im looking about and have seen that i can get a NIKKO RACING G Pack...for about £130...worth it ??

I am looking for a rear hugger which actually fits properly, had problems with the pyramid plastics one, first was hard to get on and once on rubbed like crazy...sent it back and waiting for their guys to come back to me, has anyone tried the ERMAX one !?

Also im after a black screen....anyone proven to fit right and look good ?

I have the official Suzuki hugger, love it.
It is considerably dearer but i got it a shop cost price £120 due to a problem with time and Pyramid/Powerbronze problems.

A complete waste of time....

I would not waste money buying the product and I would not waste time DIY'ing it either!

The Suzuki SV650 (Curvy and Pointy) is only very slightly retarded, there are no gains to be had other than the imaginary butt dyno thinking otherwise. It has been proven and tested a countless amout of times, it makes no performance increase!!!

The products are aimed at bikes which actual do have a lot of a ignition retard, the problem is the product list lists the SV650 in its fitting guide and everybody reads the hype and product blurb and instantly beleives it will do the same to their SV650. This is utter crap, the product description/blurb is aimed at GSXR's, etc and not the SV650!

Countless tests by proper and experienced SV650 tuners have proven it does not work and the people that say it does state the same thing "I fitted it and went for a ride a felt a real difference", this is your imaginary butt dyno telling you you have just increased the power by 10bhp because you fiddled with something!!! Utter rubbish....

Dont bother its a complete rip off and from what I've read you dont gain a huge amount if anything at all.

Suzuki OEM stuff is the best IMHO. But its not the cheapest

Official Suzuki one fits perfectly, bit costly though.

Zero Gravity, followed by Fabbri in my opinion and experience...

Good quality and well made, but do you really need adjustable levers?

proven to fit right
Then you need to mod them by making the mounting holes at the top of the screen bigger or file down the plastic bits on your bike that go through the holes otherwise you get a gap on the inside of your screen before the clock surround.
Easy to do & shouldn't put you off getting one tho'
