which bike for work

i have got my boss to agree the poss of doing my job by motorbike...
as a plumber a need a bike to carry a bit of kit.(ball valves, syphons etc)
i was thinking the honda dueaville, as it has built in panniers, a.b.s and shaft driver.

any other ideals, and anyone know where i could hire one for a month as a trial for the job, preferably in the london area.

merry christmas and thank you all

Bandit, the amount of luggage you can throw on them things is great (three hard panniers and a hole rear seat stacked in stuff).

Hiring for a month will be pricey. Cheaper to buy a second hand one and sell it if it doesn't work out as any slight loss made on it is likely to be less than the cost of hiring. The new shape deauville with the "baguette" hole between the panniers would tempt me.

Id still consider a Pan.Great load carriers, and solid as a rock.Anything you get will need bulking up with luggage so that is unlikely to make much difference.
