Friends, Who'd have 'em?

Just been blown out by a so called friend who'd offered to take me to the airport.
I've come to realise in the game of give & take it's all take with them and only give what really suits them.
So am I wrong to delete all their numbers and blank them from now on. 10 years now

Thats a **** take, a real friend would never do that!

Blank them, but if you are like me you will feel like you have gone OTT and befriend them again.

Have you sorted a lift out or you well and truely stuck?

Don't blank them. Just let them know that they've let you down.

Don't rely on people like that and certainly don't go out of your way to help them. Its a dog eat dog world out there!!

Shout at 'em a lot to make yourself feel better. Then tell them you'll be their friend if they {insert condition} :-P

If they're being idiots then ignore 'em for a bit and see if they make the effort to find out what's up. I know what you mean about the take take thing, I've had mates that are quite happy for me to get in touch and do the running but you really start wondering if it's all worth it after a while

Ignore them, you'll soon know if they're a proper friend when/if they come running.
But only if they don't want something!

I had a good friend at school, we kept in touch, until one day I realised that I kept in touch, and she never made the effort. Haven't spoken to her now for about 5 years. No loss.

I had that exact same problem with some of my mates, just thought what the hell is the point!

Thanks for letting me sound off, & listening to me :D
I suppose over the 10 yrs I've known them, they've helped me out at times. But this is not the first time they've let me down exactly like this.

Taxi time for me!
