SV650S AK8 Dashboard Light

Hello,

Small question:
Could someone please tell me what color the default backlight is on the SV650 dash ? i.e. speedometer and rpm counter...

Reason for me to know is that together with my bike order i would like to order a GI-Pro gear indicator, but it is avaible in two flavors, red or blue light...

I have orderd a SV650S AK8..

I 'think' my K8 is a clear backlight.

my k8 is orange, you'll only notice it when it gets dark

Dealer provided the black seats for free... X-)

So the dashboard light is orange ?

YAY !!!!!

2 things to consider

1) Blue light is hard to focus on - will cause your eyes to get more tired

2) Red and black may be hard to see.

I would consider going to white with the bike being black and white (Go Stormtroopers) :)

I actually think the red seats look quite good on the white bike.

First i did not mind, but i got myself a white/red Rev'It lether suite (Silica Combi), and the red color on the jacked / pants does not fit the stock red seat...

Soo...... changed the seat into a black seat...
And since the dealer offer changes the seats for free... :-)

AND!
I will get the original red seats also...
Think they will go on e-bay... :-)
