about right. Buyers market. £4k brand new - 17.5% instantly so with 18 months - 2 years de valuation it's about right.

Might go in with a low ball, was looking for a K5 really as insurance is a bit cheaper and wanted to spend up to £2k

Got another one for you. How about a 54 plate K4 with 10k miles. Good condition with datatag and alarm. 3 Months warranty new MOT and new Tax. wants £2,500 as a final reduction for it but i'm thinking that's a bit much. What do you reckon?

sound's alright to me you could try going in at the 2.2k mark work it from there.

bit too much i reckon, i got rid of one of them in september as a part ex (albeit 12k on clock), i got 2.3k from dealer.
If you're gonna pay that make sure it's in great condition and a fairing is a bonus, watch out for non oem fairings as this can restict you putting crash bungs on.

No lower fairings on it. It is in good condition, only a few scratches on the top yoke and a couple of light ones on the tank. Thinking I might forget about the lower fairings for now

Not a penny over 2K for a four year old bike in the current economic climate IMHO.However nice it is they need your money more than you need their bike.

That's what I was thinking, he said he won't sell below book and said the lowest for a good condition he'd take was £2500, the book means nothing at the moment. He's already had the bike 3 months and is notorious for not discounting apparently
