Just got into work to find the school's been closed. The boiler's bust and there's no heating :cheers::cheers::cheers:

What are the chances of getting it fixed by Friday? Could we have end of term early??
(and please, if you're a plumber in Essex don't offer to come and fix it!)

Why is it only schools that close due to faulty boilers?
Last time I had a boiler failure give me a day off was when I was at school.... The schools could do with the secret of the everlasting boilers I've experienced since leaving.

Well I was going to finish the Christmas shopping but fate has other plans.

Because of the low bright sunshine I didn't see the other car as I pulled away from school. Little damage to his car, lots to mine, but no-one hurt.
