nice cold and slippery rideout today, 18/12/08
Well set off for a bike ride at 09.30 went to Tescos for some fuel... Saw "Her that must be Obeyed" on the way...
then thought right where sall I go. So I headed toward Bishops Auklands, then onto Barnard Castle, then across the WINDY A66 got off at Brough, across to Kirby Stephens then Down that can only be described as a small "c-road" toward Hawes. Stopped there for a Chip Bap, and then onto Leyburn, Masham, Ripon, Across to Thirsk, up to Helmsley and then back toward Yarm and then Home... Bloody knackered, and now cold. Roads were quite slippy and moist...:takeabow: The back end skipped out a couple of times to let me know I was a bit too Heavy handed on the throttle... But Wow, what I loverly rideout... got back in at 2pm. Sorted... I shall be doing that run again but not in the near future, Maybe in the Spring time. |

Bugger, Wish I'd known, I could have met you in Hawes and done the second half with you.
I was kicking about the house with one eye on the bike, one eye on the chores. :) Great to hear you had a good ride. Were there many at Hawes? C |

It was pretty nice back here in Barnsley... well compaired to other days lol.
Went and got a pilot power on the front so had to ride like a nancy anyway. :( Slightly stickier front should make the front feel better when I push. Anyway I digress. You got to be very carefull this time of year thats for certain ;) |
