Scottoilers - Again. SV1000

OK. I used to have a scott-oiler on the curvy 650 mounted behind the black plastic triangles below the rider seat. Had a single delivery tube and it worked a treat.

When I got my thou, it already had a dual injector fitted but has never really worked with both injectors and for some reason the oil does not seem to make its way over to the other side.

The reservoir is mounted under the pillion seat tied to the sub-frame and is not far off horizontal which probably is not helping matters. So where is the best place to mount the reservoir to get it close to vertical but out of the way. There is a wiring loom behind the plastic trim which looks like it'll prevent me mounting it there. The tool holder thing seems to take up most of the useful space in that area.

So where does it go ?

I imagine the general clutter is the same on a pointy 650 so any tips or pics of pointy mounting would be helpful.

Cheers,
Mark

Mine is mounted on the frame where it restricts access to the toolbox. Angle is a tad shallow, but it works very well with twin injectors (sorry Mr Squid). Can get you a picture if you need one in a day or two.

I mounted mine (on an '08 naked SV650) behind the rear support for the left pillion footpeg. It's visible, but you don't buy a naked bike to hide the mechanicals, do you? Three zap-straps did the job. You can use the clear plastic "T" shaped stuff that comes with the oiler kit to space the oiler out just enough from the brace to allow easy adjustment of the oiler rate, and the refill cap is easily accessed.
Cheers,
