Which exhaust should I get?Newbie.
Hi,my 2nd question, and one that i'm sure has been asked before,is....which replacement silencer,or can,as i believe they are called these days, should I look for for my 2000 sv650,what i'm looking for should be 1,second hand (tight budget). 2 ,easy to fit with no complicated modifications (my bike has previously had a different one on as the pipe has been cut, but the original suzuki one had been put back before I bought the bike) and 3, not "too" loud ,obviously I do want to hear a more satisfying noise when i'm out on my bike, or i'd just leave the suzuki one on, but I'd prefer to be road legal and don't want to upset people in my local village ! Mark.

Fuel get good reviews and their customer service is top notch. Look on eBay as they sell the stainless steal ones on there reasonably cheap.

Or try looking on eBay for a second hand one. Any end can will do but you will need to get the correct link pipe (about £30) to fit the sv. You can get some real bargains this way.

Yep- Fuel cans are good value and nice sounding cans. Easy to fit, too- comes with all bits and instructions. Can't fault customer service either.
Too loud? Well the baffle is removable. So you can make up your mind. Though it's not horrifically loud without the baffle, it may raise some eyebrows... |
