Tyres?

Hi all,

I am taking my curvy in for a service and am thinking about getting a new set of tyres put on also. I am completely clueless about what are the best options, being a novice rider, so I was wondering what tyres other SV riders have on theirs?

I only use the bike for leisure road rides so do not need any super sports options.

Cheers!

i hear lot's of people like avon storms on here personally i prefer bridgestone 020's they just give me the best confidence in all weather conditions expensive mind and not many places stock them anymore but as long as i can still get them i will.

Avon Storms are pretty much the dogs dangles. Theres so many of the massive and the border patrol who have em its unbelievable. They are really good at this time of year too. Don't take an age to warm and are pretty damn grippy too.

To ride in and out with a pair, you'll be looking at around 180 squids
Theres been a fair few novices that have been given a whole new level of confidence on these tyres too

dont know off the top of my head but they are BT- followed by some numbers, its really annoying as i have less confidence on my bike now than after 1 day on a 125!
