been looking at the ar09 threads and was wondering if some of you would like to meet for the ride down ( it does look long and boring) so we can educate the southern folk on how to walk and talk after more than 2 halves of larger

ps i intend to do a route reccy a while before ( no honey i dont want rid of you the others asked me to do it as a big favor honest) early start refreshment sampleing late next day retreat ( its milky tims fault he called me shorty and said i had to bully )

I'm planning on going to it, so I could ride down with you!

The route would be long but definitely not boring... some decent routes down to that neck of the woods, via Leek, Ashbourne, Burton-on-Trent, down the A444, jump on the A5, and then cut across a few B-roads when we hit Milton Keynes. If you wanted to speed up the last section of the journey there's always the A14/M11.

also miky if you read this could you tell me at which postcode i should stop letting people drink my potchein i dont particularly want to od any southerners my wife suggests nowhere south of birmingham

Aye it seems that heading down everyone turns into poofters just before birmingham, about the same place where the daft accents start.
