...a nice italian resturant in central london.

I don't venture into central london much and thought I would do something different by going somewhere for my birthday this week. It would be an added bonus if they're reasonably priced as well.

For a chain, the Spaghetti House restaurants are all pretty good - well at least the 2 in Covent Garden, the one on Tottenham Court Road, the one at Victoria and the one at Marble arch have all been good.

Prices are not too bad either :)

I seem to remember there are a few over near Great Portland Street when I went there a while ago.
Just going by the map, it could have been Cavalleria on Cleveland St. Good food, but then not especially cheap.

Amaretto at 116 Tottenham Court Road, London, W1T 5AJ. I go there
quite often for business meals because it is close to UCL. It is reasonable.

I think there are also other Amarettos in London.

Na, my treat, I don't mind paying a bit more than the places we normaly eat at around enfield...but for my money, I expect a decent portion - I'm not paying £30 for a plate with a couple of peas on it, half a new potato and a single shrimp!
