So how do you clean red wine of carpets?
 
So you know how it goes drink almost a bottle of wine and throw the rest on the carpet? It makes a mess...how do you clean it up or remove the stain as it were?

yes Hovis is right. Your supposed to throw white wine on it.

The secret is (a) take action immediately and (b) don't let it dry. Sprinkle some cold water (hot will fix the stain) on it, press some kitchen roll on it to absorb. Repeat if nec, dab don't rub.

White wine on it , I think distilled white Vinegar may work as well and whilst it`s damp just up-end a whole tube of Saxa salt on top of it to draw it up out of the carpet , leave the salt on it overnight if needs be .

Biological powders only though , they have the majority of the Enzymes needed to break natural things down .
