There's probably no god...
..now stop worrying and enjoy your life
So the new bus ad has drawn it's first complaint: "Christian Voice has complained to the Advertising Standards Authority saying they break rules on substantiation and truthfulness." Ignoring the obvious irony of a people with a world view based on blind faith complaining about substantiation, it was the response from the the British Humanist Association that made me chuckle: "Hanne Stinson, chief executive of the British Humanist Association, said: "I've sought advice from some of our key people here, but I'm afraid all I've got out of them so far is peals of laughter. I am sure that Stephen Green really does think there is a great deal of evidence for a God (though presumably only the one that he believes in), but I pity the ASA if they are going to be expected to rule on the probability of God's existence." SOURCE |
Re: There's probably no god...

hell is just an example of the "do what i say or i'll hit you" method of frightening people, or in the church's case, children, into believing what they say against all instinct of logic and common sense, because even a child's probing questions are enough to bring the whole charade crumbling down |
