Hi guys and gals. Noobie here! I hav a blue, fully faired 650S K2 and passed my DAS about a month ago. Am up for some meets and rideouts if i'm welcome and I need to learn some things about my bike from you guys!

Welcome to where the lunatics rule the asylum.I will be waiting for the weather to increase by at least degrees before I venture out[Old git and a well established wimp of the highest order] No doubt having just passed your test you will be super keen but be very very careful out there at this time of year,even the most experienced can get caught out by the odd icy or grease patch.

Hi Andy & welcome, as DT says if you venture out as i am sure you will be keen to do take it very carefully, i ride every day to work but don't go out much in the evenings or weekends at this time of year, once the weather warms up & the nights pull out a lot more folks will come out of the hibernation state so rides & meets will be more common (sort of), you'll have to head over to Bentley on a Wednesday evening for a burger, cuppa & a chat, just be wary of a bloke named Pegasus asking you to buy him a coffee. :smt040

Hi Andy, congrats on your test and I look forward to seeing you out and about. Im afraid Im another one who doesn't venture out at all in this weather - but then I am a Granny (thats my excuse and Im sticking to it!) :mrgreen:

Ta for the warm welcome everyone.
Havent been out when it has been icy. Im keen but know my limits and I am simply not confident enough to attempt it in this weather.

Where is Bentley Foey? And I'll be sure to look out for Pegasus. He the one with the wings and long face, right? lmao :thumbsup:

Bentley is about ten minutes up the road from Colchester, come the summer there will be hundreds of bikes converge on the village green most wednesday nights for burgers drinks & talks.

I have been told Pegasus has a long something but it was by him & i didn't believe it. :smt040
