Front tyre?

Any recommendations for a good place to pick up a cheap front tyre (in Edinburgh area) for my SV and what type of tyre do peeps think is best?

Saltire were doing some good cheap tyres a while back...

husky's right, what have you got on now? You don't totally have to match them (or that's my opinion anyway, others disagree) but you do have to try and keep them vaguely similiar otherwise weirdness happens.

i've found from running Michelin on front and Pirelli on the back that you can get wierdness where the michelin runs at 36 psi best and the pirelli runs at 38 psi best which means the S riding position is made really wierd.
