For Sale - Two Suzuki TS50X trailies
My garage is too full and I don't have the time needed to do all the work on all the bikes I own, so I have two Suzuki TS50Xs for sale. They are proper full size trailies and look like this when they are all built up, but neither of these has gold wheel rims.
http://www.50cc-motorcycles.com/pict...ki/tsx50-8.jpg Firstly a scruffy Black one on a 1990 H plate. It's in bits with the bottom end of the engine in the frame but not bolted in (engine needs rebuilding). I can put the forks and wheels back in if anyone is thinking of trailering it home. It might be incomplete and definitely needs a complete rebuild - £100 no offers The other one is much much nicer. It's Yellow and has been repainted professionally by the previous owner's dad. Has some scratches on the front mudguard and marks here and there but isn't bad for the year, which is 1986 on a C plate. It has an engine in the frame and is on its wheels with most bits bolted up properly. It also needs some work but nowhere near as much as the other one. It might also be incomplete, I can't be sure. This one is £250 no offers. Both bikes will need to be taken in a van or trailered as neither is running nor can be made running and legal in a few minutes. I have V5s for both bikes in my name and keys for both as well. Both bikes are SORNed. One (the yellow one) has an aftermarket pipe with I think is a Fresco and both were reputed to be good for 45 mph when they were last running alongside each other (I bought them both off two friends), I'm not making any promises about speed or reliability as they are two old mopeds that have been owned by 16 year olds :D. Whoever buys them should bear in mind they have a few hours work and some money to spend to get them running and ready for MOT. As far as I can remember I think they both had decent tyres and forks/shocks etc but I'm not making any promises about that either. My daughter owned a TS50X back in 1997 when she was 16 and caned it mercilessly between Leicester and Warwick three times a week with no problems, all she ever complained about was a lack of speed so I fitted a 70cc top end to it. The are very useable and usually reliable bikes if looked after. If you've got a son or daughter who needs a 50cc bike in the next few moths send me a PM if you're interested |

Tempting. Although I don't have the money or the need for one so pointless.
I love 80s traillies and have a 1980 Yamaha DT125 sat in the garage that I ran on L-plates when I was 17 (18 now). I had toyed with the idea of selling it to fund a car or TV, but I know if I do that then I'll only wish I hadn't. So it's staying for the time being - until I can afford to get it sorted. |

As soon as I can get over to my lock-up about 5 miles away I'll have some photos on my flickr pages.
