The evil new test!!!

EEK! I should've had my test on the 4th of December, but due to the wind being the wrong direction that day it was cancelled, and now, because of what i personally think is a load of stupid teenagers taking bike tests because they're scared of the new test in March, i've gotta wait again!
I've been told late January but i was told early Jan last month! The company i'm using has had at least one cancellation this week.

Having said all this i've heard it's a fuss over nothing, it's all stuff you've done before and it's not a lot harder.
(although i'd be ****ed off having my bike (due within a week or so) and not being able to ride it)

Should i worry! Or should i not?! Anybody know the ins and outs of the new test? Apart from that it's a huge fk up at the DSA.

Try phoning around some other training place as they sometimes block book bike tests.

My guys have block booked but because of the cancellations they're having to re-schedule single tests and it's apparently a pain in the ass.

ps i've already paid them

Can't you call the DSA and ask. Or take your test in Shrewsbury? It was quite easy once they moved the test centre to Battlefield - I did all the manoovers on industrial estate roads, and cos it's new, all the units have parking lots, and so no parked cars to cope with in the yewwie. Then we went up the A53 and turned right at Astley onto country lanes, came out on the Newport road, and then into a housing estate in Harlescott for a bit of urban stuff, and back to the test centre.

Shouldn't they be able to give you a date?

I don't think they can choose which one they use because they get both. They block book aswell and because i have lessons to take, they can't give me a date as easily as others, so i'm not top of the table at the moment :( I've ridden to Shrews anyway around the ind. est. and it looks good :p would be nice to get it there.

She left a voicemail today sayin' she hadn't forgotten about me ;) aww, and explained all that cancellation stuff and that i'd get a test booked hopefully this month, but it's a bit pants. I'm not one for yelling a lot really... can't really kick the poor woman's head in either can i...!
