B & C Performance Tyres

Was talking to these guys at the manchester show about me getting some avon storms.

They said about £160 fitted, ride in ride out.

Does that sound a good price .

Has anyone used this company before and are they any good.

Are the storms the best tyres to get ??

I ride to work nearly every day, so need ones that are good in the wet as well as great in the dry.

I'm on my third set from them (had avon storms on my old 650). Very highly recommend by me and a few other in here.

I'm using Michelin Pilot Road 2CT's on the thou at the mo and getting very good milage so far (usually get around 4000-5000 miles out a rear), on a bout 5500mile and still a good shape to them.

i've never shopped around on price because they are a good set of lads who always sort me out when i need them and they are only 10-15mins away from me!

You will get nothing but praise in this thread!

After moving to the area I got recommended these guys (at Farnworth) - for the Avon Storms I was quoted £160 to loose wheels, or £180 on the bike.

I took them in one day with no notice I got them back the following day as they didn't have a pair in stock.
Seemed a decent place.

Not sure if the Storms are the best ones to get for commuting yet, as I've only done 50 miles on them so far :p

£160 is good for riding in and out.

Storms are a bladdy good tyre. Yc commutes to and from Leeds avery day, and hes had a fair few sets now. I love mine, the SV does ballet on them :-)

I don;t ride as far to work as some, but i have to go at silly o clock in the morning at this time of year and they are vey reliable. Plus if you get a puncture in them within the garantee boundaries you can get a new tyre for free from Avon

Skooky! I was talking to them there about the Storms too.

put it over your head like a hula hoop?
Either that or get some rags and bungee it to your rails underneath the bike and that should work fine for getting home
