Dyno Set-up

Well my bike went into GT Motorcycles last night to be set up on their rolling road. First run this morning produced 72bhp (see sig for what's been done).

It's running v. v. rich at the bottom end so should end up with a little more by the end of the day.

Steve, the guy doing the set up, is a god among gods when it comes to dyno set-ups and is widely regarded in the region. I believe he used to work for Crescent, tuning their race bikes but my memory's a little hazy on this!

What are the standard figures for bhp and torque for the pointy sv?

Regards

Re: Dyno Set-up

Just been and picked it up.

The final figures are: 76.10 bhp
49.76 ft-lbs torque

He's sorted out the massively rich fuel ratio at idle and low revs. Where's it has improved most is in part throttle acceleration and start stop/ slow speed/low revs in traffic etc. Everything just seems much smoother and there's absolutely no snatchiness at all!

Roll on some better weather so's I can enjoy her just that little bit more!!

She's just like me, drinks coffee every morning to get herself going and doesn't go to the pub much as she usually gets into scraps!!

69bhp for standard pointy ,off hand can't quite remember torque figures.

How much for the dyno set up?

Re: Dyno Set-up

£162 (with me 10% discount) but I had a voucher for £100 from my folks for Chrimbo so only had to hand over £62!

More than that considering I had to get the PCIII in the first place. In total it sets me back about £260!!! Much more cost effective to get the Yoshi tuning but I got more money than sense!!

It still represents an increase of over 10% so it is noticeable!
