Can I have recommendations for break down-cover including European?
 

I rang Green Flag yesterday for a quote for breakdown cover including Europe as I'm planninng to ride to Northern Spain in July.

Because I wanted personal cover (ride/drive anything) as I have more than one bike and I wanted to go to Europe they quoted me £180!!!! The Euro cover is bike specific which can be changed to suit but if I obly had that I'd only be covered on the same single bike in the UK.

Anyone know of anyone else I can use with prices? Or indeed of any way round this.

Try this one, it offers personal cover rather than vehicle based cover.

To be honest mate, it will be much cheaper just to insure your bike / car for the trip unless you spend a lot of time in Europe. My 2 weeks in europe and the balcans cost me £32 from some internet company - that was for full repatriation in the even the bike was too badly damaged / broken to ride back, vehicle hire for me and my stuff or road side recovery if possible. I spoke to MCE as I use their UK break down cover (does both bikes) and they basically said they could cover me for Europe but it would make more financial sense to take out individual cover per trip.
