kick and thrill?
did some work on a friends bike over the weekend, and we got talking about weekend enjoyment. hold it right there, i'm talking bikes;).
we both commute everyday and i'm not so sure i enjoy my weekend jaunts as much as someone who leaves their bike in the garage. am i on my own here on this? |
Re: kick and thrill??
I enjoy every minute, no matter what the weather or journey is for.

Re: kick and thrill??
I must admit, I enjoy playtime much more now than I did when I commuted.

Every ride is a new challenge, no matter what the weather or distance.
Whats more fun than a new challenge? Well other than the obvious :P |

Never commuted on the bike, have to use the cage for work, but really look forward to the times when I can ride. Im sure I wouldnt look forward half as much if the bike was my only transport. |
Re: kick and thrill??
With the weather at the moment my bike only really comes out on saturdays for work as i work in a bike shop on saturdays, so i combine both commuting and play time which makes commuting fun! I started of on a 50 when i was 16 to get me to college then onto a 125 when i turned 17 whilst i was learnin to drive and i could always go out and have fun on either of them even though i was using them to commute.

Wait to the better weather and I bet you will have been glad you "kept yer hand in" when you see all the weekend warrior, tupperware torpedo types wobbling about and throwing themselves into the bushes!;):D
