LG plasma 60" television
We have a Panasonic Viera 42 at the mo, but fancy a 60" as the living room is quite big. Husband has found a great deal on an LG, and can take out an extended (5yr) warranty for £100 extra. Thing is, haven't heard of the make, and not many reviews about.
We would really like to go for it, but it's a good bit cheaper than the other 60", which cost a good bit more. Anyone have any experience of LG? Good or bad? |
Re: LG plasma 60" television
LG are one of the best makers. They make a lot of screens for the smaller and some larger companies. You wont go far wrong with LG, Sony, Samsung or Phillips.

You havent heard of LG??? My opinion of LG are that they are the best TV's around.
In currys or similar LG's always look loads better than the rest even though the signal has been split several hundred times. |

Phew 60in screen, why don't you just move into a cinema? I was looking a a 42in today, and thought thats a big one!
I'm dead jealous :smt019 But LG are good. |

I'd just get a projector. 60" plasma is the most expensive radiator you'll ever buy ;)

Just bear in mind that a 60" screen will show up the poor picture quality of broadcast TV. I think standard def stuff looks appaling on huge screens, but Hi Def makes these large panels sing! Plus, that's a feckin' huge lump of a TV, unless you have a massive room, it will overpower the place.

Re: LG plasma 60" television
Thanks guys, sounds good. We have a 1930's bungalow and the living room is 2 rooms knocked together, so 15ftx26ft, hence the big tv.
