Sealey tools
Are Sealey tools good quality or are they slightly more budget?
Reason I ask is 'cos I found this and I think it's a bloody good deal. Just wondering if there's a reason it's so cheap. Tar |
Re: Sealey tools
I used their piston pliers. They broke. Though I don't think they were designed for the seriously seized nature of my rear caliper pistons at the time...
Couldn't speak for the rest of the range, though... |
Re: Sealey tools
Well my Dad's never heard of them but reckons they'll be ok for general maintenance.
Still to have a look at Screwfix and Machine Mart |
Re: Sealey tools
Seally are very good imho my dad only ever broke one of thier spanners but iot was a 14mm and we has a 6 foot bar on it to lever it.. we cant blame it for that!
Your possibly better off actually buying the tools you need, over time, but its not a bad place to start! |
Re: Sealey tools
Sealy are good in my expierence, and that set is good value. I have a few sealy items that i have abused over time and they keep coming back for more.
The fit of the sockets is good as are the spanners. |

Re: Sealey tools
the only Sealey product I have is my vacuum bleeder. T'is OK, nothing special. I guess that is par for the course with Sealey. They ain't Snap-on, Mac etc. But neither are they awful trash.
I would guess with the OP link, most of the cost is in the box, and not the tools |
