IIRC from the radio this morning then they are going to be in incubators for quite a while. Wouldn't biology/mechanics might prevent this?

Good luck to them all, of course - sounds hopeful that they might all survive, too :-D

ones bad enough. but 8 at once at feeding time, 8 poopy nappies all at once? She'll be knackered now but she'll need an army to cope with that lot

lol indeed, good luck to her I say! According to the article in the link, there is one other set of octuplets in the US just reaching their 10th birthday. Amazing that so many can survive and none seemingly born with any complications/disease/conditions.

Most mammals can have large litters but they get the extra teats to make up for it, this mum's gonna have difficlty feeding two with 6 more screaming for food! I guess she'll just have to hope they don't all get hungry at once :lol:

Wonder if she's been in touch with the other octuplet mum and is exchanging advice?
