would anyone on the wise forum have an ideal what would the usual setup for the forks through the yokes on the above.

my brother has got one and the yokes come through by about inch to inch and half. he finds it handles crap, but the tyres ain't good at the moment, which get changed soon.

ay ideals from some wise ones

cheers

Push them back down, they are way too far up.

Am guessing that he has either an '89/90 or a '94 RU with upside downies?
Anyway, the standard setting for the forks is to be flush with the yolks, you can drop them thru abit to sharpen things up but 25-38mm is way too much,i had mine thru 20mm and wouldnt dream of going any further, has he jacked the back up? 155mm dogbones raise the rear nicely, what are that bad handling characteristics? would have thoungt it would be very prone to tank slappers with the forks thru that much

thanks for your feedback, it's an early model, the previous owner rebuilt it, and had it on a track, so i guest thats why the fronts been drop.
the dog bones are standard as far as i can tell.

well he did have a cbr600 before, so it might partly be him.

when he gets the new hoops, then i will give it a try, but i did tell him the front was dropped to much.

i will let you know. cheers
