Braided brake lines worth it?

Just curious out of those that fitted them, did you notice a difference? Was it worth the time and money?

Cheers, Tom.

I noticed the difference, but it could have been just because they were new, may be new non braided lines would have been fine. But if you're going to change them you may as well upgrade, it's probably about time they were changed on an '01.

With a new set of rubber hoses compared to a new set of braided hoses there is no difference to be felt and no performance to be gained.

The benefit of braided over rubber is that they do not weaken over time and bulge when used. Rubber hoses should be replaced every 3-4 years, where as braided lines how no fixed date (I have a set over eight years old). Rubber hoses are more expensive then braided hoses, and the fact that braided hoses last many years more proves there worth.
