So then, on the basis that the mofos/taffia/soho massive/guildford posse etc will be organising themselves, thought it was about time we made some plans......

I think MrsMatt will be driving up which means I can ride up with anyone else who is going up on Friday :cheers::cheers::cheers:

Thinking of leaving late morning/lunchtime, probably just do motorways on the way up to get there asap, set up camp and have a beer or six.

Who else is going???

I'll be heading up on the friday at some point, if the weather is pleasant i might take the day off work and take some time, might just take the afternoon, will have to look closer to the time...

don't mind what boat i take so could start out from lymington, southampton or portsmouth...

I'll be heading up on the Friday, but was thinking of a cross country route. Something like A32, A272, A22 or A26, A21, M25 etc.

Too far off to be certain yet.

Some cracking roads there Rich - I have done that route a few times up to Brands, however it seems to take for ever :rolleyes: the twisties are great, just a bit of a PIA going through some of the towns.

Although I originally said motoway all the way, it will probably be A32/ A272 then pick up the A3 on to the M25......

me too, something like that, but not sure of timings etc, as we may be taking a car as well
