Not like Alsations to do that very often ,unless trained to do. Very very strange. It says they escaped out of a house, but under usual circumstances dogs that escape usually just roam to the nearest bins. makes you wonder if the owner socialised them properly or taught them to be agressive on purpose, or indeed they were usually kept outside as guard dogs, so were trained to attack anything on legs. You can only assume.

I meant to add this story on to the "terrible news" thread last night but got distracted

Yet another case of owner misconduct. And just giving Alsatians more of a bad name, they're lovely really! (As long as you don't annoy them ;))

Our Alsatian once got out of the back garden as the bin men hadn't closed the gates and we'd forgotten, went for a search and found him up the road in a field, he'd gone in one of those strange gates, couldn't get back out again  that was 6 years ago though when we'd only had him a few weeks.

Ours got out once and was found 2 days later 30 miles away. We think he went and found a bitch. When he was much older he escaped again and jumped straight into the boot of a nice couple's car at the petrol station next door. Muppet.

ours escape regular, they need a 50 ft fence to keep them in , as a 6 footer isn't a problem to jump over.....they only do it when Dylan the mastiff x is out playing in the field behind...we keep saying we need a text off the owner to warn us, so we can take them round to play, instead of launching themselves over the fence!
Bob escaped when he was very young and got clipped by a car, so now is extremely warey of them, but all said he had stuffed himself stupid down at the chinese takeaway bin, so he wasn't too light on his feet!

Judging by the state of the place in the vid and the delightfully charming and well spoken individual with the large hoop earrings being interviewed, I'm not surprised at this story. Big generalization maybe but heyho

tis a big generalization yes...but a fair point, my mrs' parents live not far from that place and run a youth centre in the area...not long ago 2 kids killed a grandfather when he caught them trying to steal his car.....not sure if it made national news or not....

stupid owners....stupid stupid owners
