X Box Live Problem
 

My son has just bought a new Xbox but is having a problem setting up the xbox live (which worked on his old console). When he tries to test the connection it says it has not been assigned an IP address.... any ideas on what he should do??? Many thanks

Reset to the default settings, and then reset the router.

If that doesn't work, give me a shout :rolleyes:

Many thanks......... do you mean reset the default settings on the live bit or the xbox bit? sorry if it`s a daft question but I don`t have a clue about such things :D

go to the xbox live settings, and there should be a default reset option. I'm playing at the mo, so I'll happily have a look if need be :)
