Pillion ideas?
Me and Mrs-Lylej are mulling over how she will be able to be comfy on the 675, we were thinking of those Love handle things.. but they wont stop her ramming me into the tank when braking.. so were not sure. there we have seen these tank grips online.. but there like £350.. which seems a little steep.
the problem being that i dont like having someone hanging on to me when im riding.. because they restrict my movement as i shift around quite alot.. can you get after market grab rails? i thought rentec did them but i couldnt find one for the 675.. that would solve the issue i think.. hmm.. |

Re: Pillion ideas?
Get a bike suitable for pillions, not with a token effort?

Re: Pillion ideas?
I'm not sure that the 675 was really designed for carrying a pillion that frequently.
Perhaps you should:- A) Get a bike better suited to carrying a pillion or B) Get her to do her DAS and then she can have a bike of her own (SV) |
Re: Pillion ideas?
the 675 aint ever gonna be an ideal pillion bike bit like mine.

Re: Pillion ideas?
Grippy seat. Will hold her bum in place and will provide a sure footing for her to use her own muscles to limit upper body movement.
Kerri and I had the same issues, Kerri would always be holding onto me and the grabrail at the same time. I bought a triboseat thing and I didnt feel her weight on me again. I asked her afterwards and she said she hadn't even needed to hold onto the grabrail. |
Re: Pillion ideas?
what if i combined this
http://www.motorcycle.com/images/con...iboseat_01.jpg with this.. http://www.mcs-scotland.co.uk/Produc...2/124_orig.jpg but instead of being around my waste i loop it under the pillion seat? would that work? like grab rails at her side.. hmm |
